WHAT IS MAINTENANCE MANIA
Maintenance Mania is a competition in which apartment maintenance technicians face maintenance-focused challenges that test their skills and knowledge.
We will be giving away over $1,000 in cash prizes! Overall winners, and individual challenge winners will receive cash prizes & awards. You don’t have to be the winner to walk away with prizes, all participants will be eligible to win door prizes.
The Tulsa Apartment Association (TAA) Maintenance Mania is one of many competitions taking place around the country. If participant times are the fastest in our region, they will qualify for the 2020 National Maintenance Mania competition* in Boston.
There is a total of 8 challenges:
Service Technicians can compete in just one challenge, or they can compete in them all!
*Participants must compete in all seven challenges plus enter a car in the race car competition to be able to qualify for a spot in the National Championship.
The Race Car Competition is a crowd favorite! Service Technicians build a race car from maintenance products ahead of the event, and then during the Maintenance Mania competition they race it down a 32’ long track to see who's is the fastest. Style counts - two $50 cash prize awards will be given for style - Best Use of Maintenance Supplies & People’s Choice (people at Maintenance Mania vote for their favorite car). Once you register for the competition we will get you the wheels for building your race car. You must use the provided wheels and follow the race care building specs in the rulebook to qualify.
