The Tulsa Apartment Association Zenith Awards is a time for us to recognize the best of the best in the
Northeastern Oklahoma apartment industry. As you are preparing to attend this event, there are a few
things we would like you to keep in mind.
While we want everyone to have fun, please remember the reason we are all gathered together—to honor the hard work, dedication, and achievements of our nominees. During the awards presentation please be courteous to the nominees, and the other guests around you, by being attentive to the emcee and keeping your conversations to a minimum. With over 1,000 in attendance conversations can quickly drown out the awards presentation!
The Zenith Awards is a professional event, so make sure you remember to conduct yourself in a professional
manner. We only say this because we have your best interest at heart, and we want to make sure you are
able to be amongst your supervisors, co-workers, and peers the next morning without any regrets about the
happenings from the night before. With that being said, we would like to leave you with some wise words from the makers of our beverages —Drink Responsibly.
We look forward to seeing everyone on November 18th as we see celebrate the best of the best!
All activities will be held at the Cox Business Convention Center Ballroom area (3rd & Houston).
See the attached map for directions. If you are staying at the DoubleTree Downtown Hotel you can
walk across the bridge and enter the doors on the south side of the Cox Business Convention Center,
and then walk through the Cox Business Convention Center to the Ballroom.
Free valet parking is available off of Houston Street. See the Event Map for more details. Please keep in mind that everyone is arriving to the event around the same time, so allow yourself extra time to get through the valet line when you arrive. If you do not want to valet, there is a parking garage on the east side of the Cox Business Center (the garage will charge you for parking).
The Cocktail Reception will begin at 6pm in the Atrium just outside the Ballroom. The east Ballroom doors will open at 6:45pm, and at this time you may enter the Ballroom to find your table and begin dinner. The awards program will begin at 7:45pm. At the conclusion of the Awards Presentation we will have an After-Party to celebrate all the nominees. We will open the dance floor in the Ballroom & have a DJ playing music.
Semi-formal attire is requested. Since this year’s theme is Havana Nights, you can add some Cuban
style to your outfit. Think tropical and bright colors—and gentlemen, don’t forget your fedoras! The forecast show temperatures will be chilly, so make sure you bring your coat if you plan to enjoy The Patio during the event. We do have a coat check available so you don't have to keep track of your coat while your inside.
There will be a complimentary coat check available for all guests.
You MUST have your ticket for admission. All seating is reserved. The table number where you will be seated is listed on your ticket. You can find your table location by viewing the table diagram below.
All Zenith Awards nominees will receive a 2022 Zenith Awards nominee glass and a drink ticket of their choice. Please make sure nominees pick up their glass at the Zenith Awards nominee gift table when they arrive.
A plated dinner will be served to all guests. The main course will be a chicken entrée. If you have special
dietary needs, please email us your dietary request by Wednesday, November 16th
and we will be happy to have the Chef prepare a meal to accommodate your request.
Drinks can be purchased at any of the bars with cash or credit card. If you pre-ordered drink tickets they can be picked up at the nominee gift table at the event. Drink tickets are not required to purchase drinks at event.
NEW THIS YEAR! Visit The Patio area if you need to step outside during the event. In this area you will be
allowed to leave the building with your drink. The Patio is located just outside the northeast doors. Smoking is allowed on The Patio.
MASTER OF CEREMONIES (MC)
Derrick Sier will be back to be our emcee again this year.
A professional photographer will be onsite taking pictures, and we will share these photos on the TAA website after the event. A photo booth will be available during the Cocktail Reception & After Party. Make sure you stop by the photo booth to get a photo that you can take home with you that night.

In true Havana style we will have a professional cigar roller hand rolling cigars live from 9-11pm. This will be happening just inside the northeast doors leading to The Patio. You can purchase a ticket for your very own hand rolled cigar for $10 near the cigar rolling area. Cash only please.
