WHAT IS MAINTENANCE MANIA
Maintenance Mania is an event that consists of several skill-based tables games based on common maintenance activities and a race car competition. Competitors build their race cars prior to the event, aiming to have the fastest and most creative car built out of maintenance supplies.
Note: Competitors are not required to build race cars to participate in the games, however they will not be able to compete in the race car competition if they haven’t built a race car and will not qualify for the overall winner prizes.
The Tulsa Apartment Association (TAA) Maintenance Mania is one of many competitions taking place around the country. If participant times are the fastest in our region, they will qualify for the 2023 National Maintenance Mania competition at Apartmentalize* in Atlanta.

Service Technicians can compete in just one game or compete in them all!
*Participants must compete in all six games plus enter a car in the race car competition to be able to qualify for a spot in the National Championship. View the official Maintenance Mania rules here.
The Race Car Competition is a crowd favorite! Service Technicians build a race car from maintenance products ahead of the event, and then during the Maintenance Mania competition they race it down a 32’ long track to see who's is the fastest. Style counts - two awards are given for style - Best Use of Maintenance Supplies & People’s Choice (people at Maintenance Mania vote for their favorite car).

Overall winners, and individual game winners will receive cash prizes & awards.
In honor of our Service Tech Appreciation Night, every Service Technician that attends the event will receive one raffle ticket to win door prizes. Maintenance Mania Competitors have the opportunity to earn more opportunities to win door prizes! Competitors will receive one additional raffle ticket for each game they compete in – that is 7 more chances to win door prizes!

For our spectators, cheer on your favorite competitors and you coud win the Spirit Award! The Spirit Award is judged on number of people in your spirit squad, attire, props, and overall enthusiasm.

Competitor Registration Includes the opportunity to compete in the Maintenance Mania games and win prizes, a competitor t-shirt and goodie bag, free parking voucher, dinner and drink ticket. Competitor registration is only for Service Technicians that work for an apartment community or management company.
