Fair Housing Training for Service Technicians
Understanding the Fair Housing law is incredibly important for anyone who works in property management - especially those working in maintenance! That is why we offer this training FREE to our members!
This Fair Housing training session is specifically for Service Technicians and those that work in rental housing maintenance.
Owners, executives, supervisors, managers, assistant managers, leasing professionals and other office personnel are encouraged to attend our our Fair Housing Training on April 26.
Service Technicians may have the most interaction with residents however they may not be properly trained about Fair Housing law - and this can be costly! It is important for all individuals that work in property management to understand the Fair Housing law so they know the best way to handle situations with residents, and prospective residents, to protect themselves and their company.
During this Fair Housing for Service Technicians training we will...
- provide an overview of the federal Fair Housing Act as well as fair housing protections at the state and local level
- discuss how the Fair Housing Act applies to Service Technicians' everyday responsibilites
- explain what accommodation and modification requests are and how these requests are handled
- share tips on how to deal with common situations Service Technicians may encounter to avoid Fair Housing complaints
This training qualifies for 3 NAA Continuing Education Credits (CECs).
