The Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS) course through the National Apartment Association equips experienced multifamily leaders with advanced financial, asset management, and leadership skills needed to oversee multiple communities and maximize portfolio performance. The CAPS is a nationally recognized credential that strengthens strategic decision-making, boosts credibility, and drives long-term NOI growth. NEW to the CAPS course: leadership development training and expanded content on asset performance and artificial intelligence.

As per NAAEI, to obtain the CAPS credential, candidates must complete the following;

  • Minimum of 24 months of employment as a multi-site supervisor OR be a CAM in good standing with 24 months of employment as an apartment manager
  • Successful completion of all CAPS coursework (totaling 40 hours)
  • Pass the CAPS exam within six (6) months of declaring candidacy

She has over 20 years of experience in the multifamily industry and has successfully managed properties, capital improvements, employees, crises, and finances.
